West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination WBJEE is open for other state students. Many students leave even top NITs to take admission in Jadavpur University (JU) which accept WBJEE rank to admit it's students. You may not get admission in all the government engineering colleges of West Bengal but many reputed private colleges are also there. Like Institute of engineering and management (IEM) Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT) etc. Most of the outsider appears in WBJEE only for Jadhavpur University. Average package for CSE is around Rs 12 Lacs per annum and the fee is around Rs 54000 for two years. Best university in terms of return on investment. You can use your JEE Main marks to get admission in Madhya Pradesh. All India quota seats are there. You can appear for COMEDK and CUSAT entrance test. Many colleges in the Gujarat, Maharashtra and Orrisa provides admission on the basis of JEE Main.

IIT which is also leading to its downfall. Reasons for its downfall are as follows:
1. There are new IITs being opened or in other words it is expanding too rapidly which is causing other problems like shortage of faculty and facilities provided by the IITs.
2. The quality of faculty members in the IIT is also decreasing, the professor in IITs were used to be Ph.D. in their own subject but now there are professors which have only completed their B.Tech.
3. The quality of the students is also decreasing in the nation.
4. Due to its lack of participation in the research field it is becoming more and more problematic for the IITs to make their students into a brand which can be taken by MNCs. When IIT was opened in 1950 there was one goal of the IITs, to provide with best engineers to India but now it has changed to provide best engineers to MNCs.

AISSMS Institute of Information Technology, Pune was established in August 1999. AISSMS stands for All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society which manages the college affairs. 4. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Kharagpur)
This is the first IIT funded by AICTE provides opportunities for teachers sponsored by AICTE approved engineering colleges to improve their qualification by acquiring M.Tech and Ph.D. degrees from some of the reputed institutions in the country. Admitted candidates are paid scholarship in addition to the salary from the sponsoring colleges.
5. Jadavpur University.

There is no proper syllabus criteria for the particular topics in IPU CET but the topics from which the chances are absolute high the questions will be asked are as follows. Chemistry being the most scoring and time consuming need to be focused first with the topics. P Block, D block, equilibrium, biomolecules, polymers, organic chemistry of alkanes alkenes and alkynes, halo compounds and nitrogen containing compounds. Mole concept, atomic structure, thermodyanamics and periodic properties of elements. Physics, waves, kinematics, fluids, SHM, ray optics, NLM, friction circular motion, rotational motion are some of the important topics. Maths, full calculus including integration, differentiation, area under curve, functions, application of derivatives, series, full 2d that is elipse, parabola, hyperbola. Though all the topics are important but these topics are more than sufficient to get a good rank. Only the focus should be in logical thinking rather than long solutions. Also, there are as it is same facts from NCERT books so that need to be studied thoroughly.

You should practice mock tests daily and while solving the questions always keep in mind that you have only some limited time to solve the mock test. This will help you to score good marks in the examination. By practicing the mock test, you can understand the exam pattern and accordingly manage your time to solve the question. Make a proper time-table and prepare accordingly. Study for at least five to six hours a day. Add some time for breaks and other activities which can help you to refresh. Practice only from those books which almost cover the entire syllabus of the exam. Students can also prefer NCERT books for preparations. Also, solve the previous year question papers and compare your answers with the given solved papers. It will help you to understand your mistakes and difficult areas and after that, you can work on it.
