The B.E Electronics and Telecommunication course aims to teach students the fundamental skills required to satisfy the needs of a growing economy incorporated with applied engineering aspects. out of 35, 29 students got core offers which denotes 90% students got placed which is very lucrative, hence Instrumentation Engineering is recommended for COE Pune. However, last year with huge faculty and alumni support, the placements were astonishing for Instrumentation Engineering branch.

Mumbai is a one of the well-known engineering colleges in Maharashtra and is said to be ranked second in Maharashtra after College of engineering, Pune (excluding IITs and NITs). Getting into this college through MH-CET requires a lot of efforts too. Placements of VJTI are pretty good when compared to other government colleges in Maharashtra. For EEE department last time (2016-17) out of 64 students who applied to placements from EEE department 59 students were placed meaning 92.18 percent placement for EEE which is a quite good number. More than 55 companies visited the campus for recruiting from EEE department. The lowest package offered was around 3 LPA and the highest package offered was around 19.5 LPA. The percentage rate is almost 100% for Mechanical engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months to 4months on average. VJTI is known for its academia and widely reputed as ranks in top 25 colleges in India. The diverse set of students bring peer learning at its best and also alumni support is great.
