Textile Engineering has attracted nearly best placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 12 LPA. Some top Organizations like Siemens, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Asitya Birla Cellulose, Raymonds, Pantaloons, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas, etc. And numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 95% for textile engineering. The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month, although Textile students get only about 20,000. Computer Engineering has attracted nearly best Placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 65LPA by Facebook. Some top Organizations like Siemens, ABB, Facebook, Bank of America, TCS, Wipro, JP Morgan, Texas Instruments, Huawei, Ericcson, Samsung, Oracle, HCL, IVP, Google and numerous others come to campus. The companies which come for campus placements are L&T, PPL, Shapoorji Pallonji, TATA Housing, TCS and various others. The average package offered vary from 3.5 to 6 Lacs depending on your skills and information about the area of expertise. So, if you come here and grasp the knowledge given to you, nobody can stop you from getting that the highest package!

IIT ranks 9 in the list of top colleges of India. Indian Institute of Technology- Roorkee offers many courses out of which Computer Science engineering is one of the courses which offers about 100 seats to students. IIT-Roorkee is known for its great infrastructure faculty with 5 to 10 years of experience and they are very knowledgeable and facilities like Wi-Fi, Sports Complex and labs with better equipment and machines. It provides the good coding environment in the College and it also takes part and organize many different coding competitions. Median package:- 12lpa
Maximum Package: 26lpa

After considering the placement report of 2016 for IIT, Guwahati in biotechnology engineering branch, out of the 40 students who enrolled for placements, 32 got placed. Some core companies this visit like Biocon, Narayan Cadillac, Sun Pharma, Ranbaxy, Brenntag Industries, etc. But gave away very few offers, Also these placements were mostly considering Business Intelligence, data analytics, banking finance, marketing and other such companies due to the lack of ample of core biotechnology companies visiting the campus and thus rolled out IT based roles. Physical sciences (physics and chemistry), life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry), together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals materials and energy. IIT Guwahati is a top class institute and every branch of it is quite good. Here is some of the insights of the college. Intake:- 70 (chemical)

I will tell you how placements work. Let there be a company and lets name it "Orange". Your PC (Placement Coordinator) approaches this company and invites them for a placement drive at your college. Orange will then confirm by giving their shortlisting criteria. Now in reality, mostly this criteria contains the following:
1. Student must have no back/cleared backs at the time of interview.
2. Student must have more the 80% aggregate in all semesters at the time of interview.
3. Student must be well read about all the company profile.

According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India. For Computer Science Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 108 students who applied to placements from CSE department, 107 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number. For CSE, the minimum salary offered was 3.3 LPA. The average salary was 13.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 20 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal.
