Admission to B.Sc. at IHM Shilong is done based on the rank obtained in the NCHMCT JEE exam. The cutoff rank for admission to the course is 9829 for the general category. The candidates are advised to visit the official website of the university for more details. Admission to UG Diploma and Certificate courses is not done based on results of any entrance exams.

The latest cutoff information on B.Sc admissions at IHM Shillong, 2024 is not yet available.

However, the cutoff for the previous year was 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

The selection process for IHM Shillong is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The candidates who are shortlisted on the merit list will be called for an interview.

The following entrance exams are accepted by IHM Shillong for admission to B.Sc: 

1) IHM CET (Institute of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test) 

2) CAT (Common Admission Test) 

3) MAT (Management Aptitude Test) 

4) XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 

5) GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) 

6) GRE (Graduate Record Examination) 

 Among these, The IHM CET is the most preferred entrance exam for admission to IHM Shillong.

Other exams are also accepted by IHM Shillong for admission to B.Sc.

The last date for admission to IHM Shillong for the academic year 2024-25 has not been released yet. Admission to B.Sc. at IHM Shilong is done based on the scores obtained in the NCHMCT exam. The candidates are advised to visit the official website of the university or contact the administartion department of the university directly for more details related to admission.

The admission process is very competitive for IHM Shillong. So, It is important to prepare for the entrance examination.

There are some eligibility criteria which needs to be fulfilled:

* You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

* You should have passed English as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

* You should have passed Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

* You should have passed Physics or Chemistry as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

& Once you fulfill the eligibility criteria, you can apply for admission to IHM Shillong through the online application portal.
