Greetings,
SIM GE (Singapore Institute of Management Global Education) offers degrees with well-known universities from Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States while JCU Singapore offers it’s own degrees as a stand alone Australian university based in Townsville. Hence, it is impossible to determine which is better in terms of recognition.However, as both institutes are classified as private education institutes in Singapore, many employers here would see their degrees as equal and look for other factors like skills, internships, etc.Hence, just follow your heart and choose the course that interest you best be

To apply at SIM University, you need to follow the steps mentioned on their website. Firstly, create an account on the SIMConnect portal and log in with your email address and password. Then, complete the application form and submit it online along with all the required supporting documents. The application fee for local applicants is SGD 96.30, and for international applicants, it is SGD 481.50. International applicants applying for a full-time programme need to submit a Student’s Pass (STP) application form online, which is subject to approval from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

To be eligible for the SIM Global Education Undergraduate Scholarship, outstanding local and international students pursuing bachelor’s degree programmes at SIM Global Education (SIM GE) can apply for the scholarship through one of the following categories: Academic Excellence and Leadership, Sports and Artistic Talent. You should have outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level, Local Polytechnic Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications. There is no bond attached. Application can be submitted in either March or September.

There are various part-time job options available for Indian students at SIM University in Singapore. Some of the popular sectors include working on-campus in the cafeteria, computer centers, library, or student union, Internships related to the course of study, Graphic designing and programming, waiting staff or cashier in restaurants and cafes, Supermarkets. You can also go for freelancing and voluntary Work. However, international students on a Student Pass in Singapore are eligible to work part-time for about 16 hours a week during term and for unlimited hours during vacation.
