The SMEAT exam schedule includes three examinations offered by the institute: Test 1: Written test. (Those who took UCEED/CEED and SET and received valid scores or ranks may be excluded from the test.) Test 2: A studio-based activity test. (All applicants must take the test.) Test 3 is a group/individual counselling session. (All applicants must take the test.)

Candidates should be selected on the basis of the score obtained in TANCET. Candidates who had qualified CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, GATE, GRE, CMAT exams will be exempted from the entrance exam. After the exam, qualified candidates can apply for the MBA program.Admission to the Anna university Chennai MBA course is based on Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). Anna University itself conducts the state-level entrance exam to admit students to several postgraduate courses such as MBA, ME/ MTech, MPlan and MCA.

SMEAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. For this academic session, entrance exam has three admission rounds. Note that for each round, the application process will be conducted separately.

The application fee for SMEAT exam is INR 5,000. Also, for every additonal course, the candidate has to pay another INR 1,000. The fee has to be paid online. In case the application fee isn't paid, the application form will be considered incomplete.

Application process for SMEAT 2026 is open now. Candidates who meet prescribed eligibility criteria can apply before last date. Last date to apply for SMEAT is March 15, 2026.

SMEAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology. For the current academic session, the entrance exam has three admission rounds. Note that for each round, the application process will be conducted separately. 

The 1st round of admission process is currently over. The application form for Round I was open from January 10 to March 27, 2024. The entrance exam was conducted from April 6-7, 2024.

According to students, SMEAT exam is in the range of average, which is neither too easy and nor too tough. The candidate, however, has to know the syllabus and its core subjects thoroughly in order to score well.

Candidates appearing for SMEAT can also appear in other popular private entrance exams like MITID DAT, Pearl Academy, and FDDI AIST.

There are then the top-tier entrance exams like NIFT, NID, and UCEED.

Yes, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology offer one-year PG Diploma course. The PGDP programme allows the individual to choose among two course offerings, the Bridge and the Finish, each of which have been designed to align to different levels of learning.

The SMEAT 2026 exam for Round I will be conducted around the 1st week of April 2026.
