For general candidates, they must get a rank below 8000 to get in VIT or SRM. You can't get a seat in SRM in any branch even you have a reservation. Based on your branch and category you may get some good colleges. But in web options first put universities even you can't get. Sometimes you may have a chance. Try Shiksha college predictor. Your ranking at 21K is actually very good and with this you are bound to get admission in a good engineering college. You can help yourself by downloading the college predictor of the entrance exam in which you got this ranking. It will tell you about possible branch and the college that you can get.
