-Graduation degree in any stream
-students from Science must have 60% or above in their graduation
-Minimum pass percentage require varies from 45-50%.

I believe that sociology is an important aspect of the humanities stream. A lot of students pursue graduation and post-graduation with this stream. 

Some common job prospects include:

Becoming a lecturer by appearing in the UGC NET Sociology Exam. There are also some jobs in public health and welfare organisations, media industries. Students are required to choose their career sector wisely for a bright future.
