• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, and related fields of Engineering is required. Applicants from other fields of Engineering with a proven record of work experience in these areas may also apply

English language requirements

The applicants can demonstrate their English language proficiency for admission to ESIGELEC by choosing any one of the following ways:

• Successfully completing two or more consecutive full years at a recognised secondary or post-secondary institute, where English is the primary language of instruction and communication. Also, the medium of instruction of the applicant’s bachelor’s degree must also be in English

OR

• IELTS with minimum 6 overall score or equivalent

As such there are no eligibility criteria laid down by The College Board for taking the SAT exam. However, since SAT is for admission to undergraduate programs candidates are advised to appear for their SAT while in standard 11th or 12th. This way they would be eligible to send their SAT scores to the univeristies abroad where they wish to seek admission. SAT eligibility does not change frequently over night. 

Indian students residing in India are eligible to appear for SAT in India. The students are eligible to choose any the nearest or convenient SAT test centre in the state of residence and city too. In case the city of residence does not have a SAT test centre, Indian students are eligible to choose the next best option to appear for the SAT exam.
