Sports scholarships at INSD Kolkata are available to any student who has earned notable achievements in any sports event of national or intrnational level. Students who wish to claim a sports scholarship must present proof of their achievements at such events.

SDA Bocconi Asia Center provides Sports and Cultural Scholarships to IMB students. The scholarship is offered to students with consistently high levels in any sport (preferably at the National level) and any cultural or Art form. The scholarship amount is INR 2 Lacs inclusive of GST and is applied to the tuition fee before the waiver.

Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board in any stream, arts, commerce, or Science with an aggregate score that is usually between 45% to 60% depending on the institution.
Entrance Exams: Though most colleges select students based on Class 12 scores, a few may require the candidate to appear for some entrance exams like MAH CET, CAT, among others.
Other preferences: There are colleges that prefer graduates with a background in physical education or sports participation, though this is not a prerequisite.
