Candidates who have passed a master's degree with 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the policy of Government of Maharashtra) or Grade- B in the UGC 7-point scale can apply for PhD programme at Sri Balaji University Pune. Besides, aspirants must also have a valid score in SBUP-PET, UGC NET (JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (JRF), SET, GATE, SLET for admission.

Aspirants who have passed graduation with Mathematics at Class 12 level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra) are eligible to apply for MCA programme at Sri Balaji University. Aspirants who have completed Class 12 can take admission in UG courses offered by the university. Sri Balaji University offers BBA, BA, BSc, BCA, BPES, BA LLB, etc. at the UG level. The minimum aggregate is 45%. Hence, aspirants with 65% in Class 12 can get admission provided they also fulfill the selection requirements. There is a 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.
