Hello,
Since you belong to the AU region, I don't think you can expect a seat at SV University,
But I suggest you try for JNTU-Kakinada. It is far better compared to SVU in terms of studies and faculty.

In most of the engineering colleges, the change in branch is permissible. So you can change your engineering branch. Every college have their own criteria of CGPA required for change in branch. So its better to asked to college regarding this. However generally students having CGPA above 7.5 are eligible to apply for change in branch.
