CGPA or Cumulative Grade Point Average is a way of calculating a student's overall academic performance at SRM University Vadapalani (SRMIST). It is calculated by taking the average of all the grade points that a student has earned throughout their academic career.

The grade point system at SRMIST is as follows:

It is important to note that this permission is not guaranteed and requires valid supporting documentation. Attending all internal exams is stro

The SRM University campus in Kattankulathur is located in the suburban area, which is a long way from the centre of the city. Whereas, the Vadapalani area of Chennai is known for its commercial and entertainment establishments. The place of campus in Vadapalani can offer students access to different amenities, transportation options and a lively city environment that will be hard for them to cope with if they are on the Kattankulathur campus.

As per past trends and analysis, the good rank in SRMJEEE can be between 5000-7000. Students securing this rank have the chance of securing admission in popular B.Tech specializations like CSE/ ECE.
