SRM University Kattankulathur has a wide array of faculty comprising of more than 500 teaching staff and more than 1,500 non-teaching staff. The total duration of the SRMJEEE exam is 2.5 hours. Mode of test- Online Duration- Two hours and thirty minutes Language- English Total number of questions- 130 Questions type Objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options from which only one option is correct. Subjects asked- Physics, Maths, Chemistry, English & Aptitude. For Biotechnology- Candidates have to appear for Biology instead of Mathematics. Marking scheme- One mark will be provided for every correct answer. There is no negative marking.

No it is not mandatory to visit SRM University campuses for SRMJEEE counselling. The counselling process is online and the process is given below:
- Login to the portal: The candidate has to login to the application portal through the link applications.srmist.edu.in/btech
- Rank card download: Candidates can download the rank card through the mentioned online admission portal (OAP).
- Educational detail filling: Candidates have to fill in the educational details.
