The chances are decent to get into SRMIST in CSE specialization or a bit lower branches, but the cutoffs are subject to change every year. Since the institute offers around 7k seats in total, with a rank of around 3-4k you have fair chances.

No, the seat intake for SRM IST Vadapalani BCom programmes vary depending on specialisation. Moreover, the course is offered in two different shifts, Shift 1 and Shift 2. This shift bifurcation helps students decide the time of the batch.

SRM IST Vadapalani BCom course duration depends on the specialisation chosen. BCom General and Accounting & Finance are 3 years courses while BCom (Hons) International Accounting & Finance takes 4 years to complete. The course duration also decides the fee for the programme.

SRM IST Vadapalani offers total three BCom specialisations for 2025 batch. These includes BCom (General), BCom Accounting & Finance, and BCom International Accounting & Finance. Specialisation helps students in choosing the subjects they want to study. Preference for specialisation is filled in the application form.
