No, a minimum of 60% in PCM is generally required for most B.Tech programs at SRM, in addition to a valid SRMJEEE score.
With 55% in PCM, you would not meet the eligibility criteria for the main campuses like Kattankulathur.
However, for the Delhi NCR campus, the minimum is 55% in PCM.

If you got 13900 rank in the SRM entrance exam then it is very slim to get CSE with any specialisation at the SRM kattankulan Thur campus because for getting admission in CSE specialisation students rank must be lies between 8000 to 9000

In terms of rankings, placements, and academic reputation, VIT is generally thought better than SRM and KIIT. It also has good infrastructure, diverse groups of fellow students, and better placement, especially in CSE and IT, after which comes SRM, which is good in terms of industry exposure, and lastly KIIT, which tends to be preferred in region and has been recording consistent growth.
