If you're looking at SRM KTR's management quota for B.Tech (especially CSE), be ready to shell out around ?4 Lacs per year. So that's about ?16+ Lacs for 4 years, not including hostel or other charges. Fees can change based on the demand for the branch and your negotiation, so it's best to call their admissions office directly.

Here's the thing: SRM Kattankulathur's CSE branch is super competitive. It usually closes below Rank 8,000–10,000. If your SRMJEE rank is 15,000, getting CSE at the KTR campus is a long shot. You might get CSE in SRM Ramapuram, Vadapalani, or even EC/IT at KTR, but pure CSE? Not likely. That said, internal branch upgradation later is possible; but risky and based on merit.

The seat bifurcation varies by specialisation. While the total intake is 150, individual BSc programmes may offer around 50 seats each. Final seat allotment depends on student preference and merit list.

Yes, candidates applying for all BSc specialisations at SRM IST Vadapalani are generally expected to have studied relevant Science subjects in Class 12. Preference is usually given to students from Science stream. The seat bifurcation varies by specialisation. While the total intake is 150, individual BSc programmes may offer around 50 seats each.
For courses like B.Sc in Computer Science or Visual Communication, Mathematics or Computer Science is mandatory in Class 12 subject combination.

As per the official website of SRM IST Vadapalani, there is no mention of any seat reservation policy for BSc courses. Admissions are likely based on merit and seat availability. Apart from this, students also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria. Only candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be considered for further admission rounds.
