Yes, you will be getting the call letter since the college sends call letter to almost all students. But they are not provided by the branch the students want and also you may get another branch, other than the main branch. So you may not be getting the branch you want or the campus you want.

You can easily get CSE branch which can get you the highest package. Other than CSE, you can also get mechanical branch which is in demand these days.

Selection Procedure after qualifying SRMJEE exam is mentioned below:
1) Aspirants are invited for a counseling session which is based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE - UG 2018.
2) SRM may conduct one or more counseling sessions depending on the vacancy of seats.
3) Aspirants are required to choose their preferred specialisation / branch of study in a particular campus based on: (a) the cut-off score for the specified specialisation / branch (b) fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus and (c) subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.

To book slots, you have to log-in to the SRMJEEE 2018 slot booking portal using their application number and password. Upon successfully logging in, the candidates can book a slot from the available options. The admit card of SRMJEEE can be downloaded immediately after successful SRMJEEE 2018 slot booking.
