No, the SSC JE Paper 1 is conducted in different sessions and shifts for two-three days depending on the number of applications. As the exam is conducted in multiple shifts, the Staff Selection Commission SSC calculates the raw score of the candidates and then carry out the normalization process to provide the level playing field to all the candidates. The SSC JE result is prepared based on the normalized marks of the candidates.

The last date to apply for the SSC JE exam was July 21, 2025. The Staff Selection Commission released the JE application 2025 on June 30, 2025. The Commission provided 21 days to the candidates for filling out the SSC JE applications. After the closing of the application window, the application correction window was activated from August 1 to 2, 2025.
