The SSC JE Paper 1 is conducted in three shifts on a single exam day. First is held from 9:00 to 11:00 am, the second from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and Third from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The exact shift timing is mentioned on the admit cards of candidates.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for the SSC JE exam. Candidates can apply for the SSC JE till they attain the maximum age limit mentioned in the official notification for their category. The Commission also provides the age relaxation to certain categories. Candidates should check the official notification to know about all such relaxations. You can appear for the exam as many times you want if you meet the SSC JE eligibility criteria.

The authority will release the SSC JE 2025 Tier 1 admit card at ssc.gov.in. It will be released by the regional websites and the candidates will be required to download their hall ticket from their respective region. To download it, candidates need to important to be carried to the JE exam centres. Candidates can download it by following manner.
- Visit at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the SSC JE Admit Card tab.
- Click on the respective regional website link.
- Enter the login credentials like Roll number/registered ID OR name/father's name Date of birth. Verify the given equation.
- Click on the Submit button.
- View, download and print the call lette

The last date to apply for the SSC JE exam was July 21, 2025. The Staff Selection Commission released the JE application 2025 on June 30, 2025. The Commission provided 21 days to the candidates for filling out the SSC JE applications. After the closing of the application window, the application correction window was activated from August 1 to 2, 2025.
