No, the result for the Staff Selection Commission Junior Engineer (SSC JE) varies as per the categories (UR/SC/ST/EXS/PwD/EWS) of the candidates. The Commission prepares the separate list for each category and the result is based on the cut off prepared for that category. The candidates are selected from their category list according to their performance, as the Commissions distributes the number of vacancies according to the categories. SSC JE age limit varies as per the post applied by a candidate. However, it varies from 21 years to 32 years. SSC JE age limit is mentioned in the official notification of the exam. The SSC JE exam is conducted in two stages - Paper-I Paper-II. The candidates are required to appear and clear both the phases of exam. The final merit list will be prepared after adding the marks of paper 1 and 2.

Yes, the SSC JE service preference form is released on the regional websites. The candidates are required to fill out the service preference form and submit it to the regional website. As per the service preference, the candidates will be assigned to the departments where the Document Verification will be conducted.
