The faculty of St. Joseph College of Engineering and Technology is quite good, having some experienced members who have knowledge in that particular area and the other members having experience in their respective departments. Many students have appreciated the faculty teaching skills and approachability, thus creating a good academic atmosphere. Certain comments have been made against certain departments, but on the whole, the quality of faculty is good as it relates to the technical and management fields.

Following are the requisite documents to be submitted at the time of application to the BE/BTech courses in St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology:

1. Academic Record: Mark sheets and certificates of 10 and 12 standards. 
2. Entrance Test Scorecard: Valid KEAM scorecard or score derived from equivalent entrance examination, if applied through another entrance examination.

Cutoff Marks for St. Joseph College of Engineering and Technology would generally depend on the particular course and the entrance examination which is to be pursued towards admission, which would either include KEAM or the Management Quota. Mostly it is merit-based admission with higher chances depending upon their rank.
