Yes, there is an Engineering research-based programme available to international students. Undergraduate students who are already pursuing a full time bachelor's degree programme are eligible to apply in this internship program. This internship programme will help students get practical exposure on their subject of interest by attending different workshops, experiencing professional environment, working with postdoc and graduate students etc.

Mostly, Academic IELTS is little more difficult, because Reading and Writing topics are harder. General is more simple and for daily life use.

In IELTS Academic Reading, you will read 3 long and hard passages from books or magazines. On the other hand, in General Reading, you get shorter and simple texts like ads, emails, notices, etc. It's easier than Academic.

The Listening and Speaking sections are same in both tests. No change in questions or format. You will do same type of listening audio and face-to-face speaking in both.

The IELTS exam has 4 section, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Everyone gives all 4 sections. But Reading and Writing are a bit different in Academic and General Training test.
