While the university itself does not take an entrance exam at the time of admission, Indian students are required to attain the minimum passing marks in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET exam along with a minimum 50% score in each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in Class 12 (for unreserved category students) or 45% in each subject (for reserved category students).

Yes, a degree from the Northern State Medical University is deemed valid in India. The NSMU Russia MBBS is recognised by the National Medical Commission of India, also known as the Medical Council of India, earlier.

This means that Indian students to have pursued their higher studies from the institute are free to practice in India, upon successful graduation, provided they clear the FMGE exam upon their return.

Yes, PSMU does have an Indian student association on campus that comprises Indian students who are known to participate in a number of social and cultural activities that take place over the course of the academic year.

While it does not have an official name, students can look for the same online via the PSMU Indian Student Organization or learn more about it directly on campus.
