Yes, for most MA programs, knowledge of the English language is required as those are English-taught. Given below are the guidelines for the same, take a look -
- The students would require an IELTS score of 6.5+ to be able to apply to this university.
- Applicants can also go for the TOEFL iBT to prove their language proficiency.

For an SOP for UK, you need to show that you have a deep understanding of the course and its modules along with the teaching style, application process and other academic aspects. Universities in the UK appreciates your effort if you went beyond and studied what the course has to offer and how well it align with your future plans. Hence, your SOP should mention also strong points of your qualifications that match with the requirements of the programme along with your strong dedication for completing the course.

No, it can not be considered easy to get into the MA programme by the University of Cambridge. The University of Cambridge acceptance rate of 37.9%, which means it is competitive to get in.
The applicants cannot expect admission if they are average academically. Additionally, these students would have to do really well in language exams to get in, the students have to -
- Submit proof of extracurricular activities
- Strong research abilities

A strong SOP is important to get into any uni in the UK. It explains a student's qualifications. It also explains why a particular student should be picked by the university for higher studies. Students with a strong SOP or Personal Statement tend to have better chances of admission.

Applicants should not consider any university cheap, as the total cost of an MA degree at the University of Oxford or Cambridge depends on many factors.
As per the tuition fee for MA at Cambridge, Indian applicants would have to pay INR 45 L for the first year. For the Oxford MA, the fee ranges from INR 29.7 L to 55.17 L.
Other factors may make it cheaper or more expensive.

Getting into the University of Cambridge can be considered tough and the students are required to have a first class bachelor's degree along with English language proficiency.
Given below are the other admission requirements for MA at the University of Cambridge:
- A UG degree with 65% to 70%
- An awesome score in the English language proficiency exam
- An application made via the application portal
- Strong CV, LORs and research proposal

Yes, just like the other UK universities, too, the University of Cambridge offers MA courses.
These courses are generally pursued by the holders of a BA degree and the applicants are required to meet the Cambridge University admisison requirements.
The first year tuition fee for the same programme is INR 45 L (it does not include other important factors like housing and transportation).
