Undergraduate (First‑Year) Deadlines

For students applying to start in Autumn 2026 at the Columbus campus:

Early Action Deadline: November 1, 2025 — this is the priority deadline for early decision notifications and most scholarships/honors programs.

Regular Decision Deadline: January 15, 2026 — final deadline for complete applications for autumn entry. 

Financial Aid Priority (e.g., FAFSA & ScholarshipUniverse): around February 1–15, 2026 (priority date for FAFSA/aid varies slightly).

Transfer Students

Fall 2025 (Columbus campus): Application deadline often November 1, 2025, with variations for regional campuses around December 1, 2025. 

International Applicants

International first‑year applicants typically follow the November 1 early action and January 15 regular decision deadlines for autumn entry as well. 

Graduate Programs

Graduate programme deadlines vary widely by programme and department and are different from undergraduate dates. Many graduate applications for autumn admission have deadlines in December–January or later, depending on funding cycles and specific graduate school requirements — so you should check the exact programme page for your field.

 Bachelor's Program Admission Requirements

To be admitted to a bachelor's degree programme at Fresenius University of Applied Sciences, you generally need:

Academic Qualifications

A university entrance qualification (“Hochschulzugangsberechtigung”):

German Abitur (general university entrance qualification)

Fachhochschulreife / Fachgebundene Hochschulreife (subject‑restricted or applied sciences entrance qualification)

International school‑leaving certificate that is recognised as comparable to the German entrance qualification (subject to official assessment).

If your foreign certificate does not automatically qualify, you can take the Feststellungsprüfung / university qualification exam or the Hochschule Fresenius entrance exam (online written + oral) to qualify.

3. Language Requirements
