Different faculty members at the University of Toronto operate differently in terms of the admission deadlines for all international students.

This happens because each division of this university like the Rotman Commerce, Engineering or the Computer Science programs, has its own admissions, additional requirements and capacity.

The U of T admission deadline often starts in early 2026 for enough time to get the whole admission processed.

For Indian students, a holistic approach to admissions is considered and followed. It is still very much focused on having a good GPA and really good academics but the factors given below are also assessed for admissions -

  • Essays
  • Extracurriculars
  • Leadership
  • Community engagement

This is mostly done for competitive programs such as Engineering and Rotman Commerce.
