Using is the correct grammar is paramount for admission essays. Spelling mistakes, wrong tenses, and other grammatical errors will show that you do not have a good command over the English language, which is the medium of instruction in universities abroad. Correct grammar also reflects your professionalism, seriousness, and credibility as an applicant. Thus, to make a good impression on the Ad Com, you must be extra careful about writing a grammatically correct essay.

Considering its sits alongside the best private US universities, it hardly surprises anyone, that the university prioritizes students with good academics. It has an acceptance rate of 42%. Although its not that high, as an Indian student you still have a fair chance of getting into the university, that is, provided you meet the basic eligibility.

Yes, Harvard University is a need-blind for international students. This means that students will not be disadvantaged in the UG admission process due to the financial need. Additionally, Harvard promises to meet 100% of the demonstrated need for the admitted students, including international. However, make sure to apply for financial aid as per the deadline. Then, complete the CSS profile, access the IDOC portal and submit the application for financial aid. The total Harvard University cost for the academic year 2025-26 for UG students is going to be around USD 90,426- USD 95,426 (Around INR 77.4 L - 82 L).
