In order to take admission in PhD course at TNAU the student requisite to clear ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF examination. However, the aspirants age should be at least than 20 years. No relaxation is allowable regarding the minimum age limit.

No, students cannot apply for PhD right after graduation at TNAU. However, the candiate have to complete master degree. If a student apply for PhD course after graduation the candidature will be rejected by TNAU.

In order to get PhD admission at TNAU, the students need to have a alid score of AICE JRF/SRF. Other than application form no alternative application mode will not be accepted. Candidates not those not match the qualification as per official website shall be instantly disqualified.

No, the PhD admission at TNAU is closed for the year 2023. The online submission of the application form was from 22 May 2023 to 16 June 2023 up to 11.30 PM. Apart from this, any corrections to be made for the application fee at the official website were from 18 June 2023 to 20 June 2023. Since the PhD admission is closed the dates mentioned here might help students to prepare for the next academic year.

Candidates should not have completed the age of 21 years on the first day of July of the admission year as on 1 July 2023. However, for scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Caste-Arunthathiyars (SCA) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) there is no age limit. Apart from this, five years of age relaxation will be given for differently abled candidates.
