Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university. It ranks 9 under the Engineering category, respectively, in the NIRF 2022 Rankings, released on July 15. Candidates must meet the VITEEE Cutoff of 2022 to be admitted to VIT University's campuses. VITEEE's closing rank is considered a cut-off for BTech admission, which is based on marks obtained in the results. It has recently declared results for VIT 2022 in July, and eligible candidates are called for the counselling process. For example, each branch has a different cut-off, and, according to available data for CSE branch closing rank, it was under 10,000 in different years for the Vellore campus. Like in 2019, it was only 7500.
