Hello Aspirant, VIT has category-wise cutoffs for a specific branch. There are 5 categories. The fees increases with category. For instance, the fee for category 4 will be more than category 2. Therefore, you can get CSE at a higher rank but the fee will be more. Category wise cutoff for CSE branch:
Category 1- 950
Category 2- 3500
Category 3- 19000
Category 4- 22000
Category 5- 25500
Category wise cutoff for CSE (with specialisation branches like AI, Data Science, etc. ). Branch:
Category 1- 2800
Category 2- 9000
Category 3- 23000
Category 4- 27000
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
As you can SEE you can get CSE branch at your rank with some specialisation branch but the fees will be higher. CATEGORY WISE FEE STRUCTURE PER YEAR:
Category 1 - 1.9 Lacs
Category 2 - 3 Lacs
Category 3 - 4 Lacs
Category 4 - 4.5Lakh
