You need to apply for a single window counseling programme through which you will be allotted seats based on your board exam marks. There is no entrance exam for admission. You may refer www.annauniv.edu and www.tnea.ac.in for more information.

You have to write VITEEE exam to get the admission in VIT Vellore.

Yes, it is possible that to in a branches like civil, electronics. It is better to prefer other colleges then because branch does matter in placements. You will get CSE/IT branch in category 6th and civil branch in category 1 in Vellore. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000, so you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well. With each category a
