Yes, you are eligible if you have better rank in MAT. There is 5% relaxation for Sc/MNC/ST candidates.
A minimum of 60% marks is required in the undergraduate degree from a recognized university or institution.
The Bachelor's degree should be of minimum 3 years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent.
The candidates should have studied in regular full-time programmes.
The candidate appearing for final year examination in the current academic year, whose results get published before August, is also eligible to apply. Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.

Best course for job opportunities and placements in the colleges of Tamil Nadu at UG level is B.Tech and at PG level is MBA/PGDM. You can also op for Law, or Science courses, which also offer good placement opportunities and has immense career scope. It is not that bad. If you have money and interest in the field you can take it. You will definitely gain knowledge and exposure to the culture and the latest technology. If you are just looking for the degree it is not advisable to take the course in VIT. According to the placement wise VIT is not good for B.Sc animation and multimedia courses
