Hello,
While preparing for UGC NET English, be clear with the fact that it has a very vast syllabus so you to give it enough time to prepare. First of all go through with your M.A. Coursework, it won't take much time, just afresh it in mind, just for having a general idea of topics like Major authors & their works and literary periods ( From Chaucer to contemporary)
Now pick up any standard History book from British literature, some options are David Daiches, Edward Albert, W H Hudson. Collect the maximum information about the important author/critic & their work. Practice previous year test papers & UGC NET http://bit.ly/2FSok2K Online

It is a myth that people working for 9-10 hours per day cannot devote their time to the preparation of UGC NET. It is not only possible to prepare during your work phase but also possible to crack the exam ultimately. I am going to share a few tips that might help you to prepare while you work.
