The process of becoming a lecturer is quite simple. You must have pursued post-graduation to become a lecturer as it is the minimum eligibility criteria. You must have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks in post-graduation. If you meet the above-mentioned criteria, then you are eligible to apply for the UGC NET Exam which is conducted by NTA to select the deserving candidates for lectureship. The exam is conducted twice a year, so you can apply for any of these two sessions to appear in the exam. The syllabus of UGC NET Exam is divided into two Papers I. e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. You have to prepare yourself for both these papers
