No CTET Exam for Classes 9 to 12 before 2027: NCTE
The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has confirmed that the CTET exam will not be conducted for Classes 9 to 12 until 2027. The NCTE will consider conducting the CTET exam at four levels after 2027, that is, when the first batch of ITEP graduates.

'Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated BEd - MEd'
As per the above-mentioned criterion, candidates who have obtained a minimum of 55 per cent marks in the post-graduation with a three-year integrated BEd-MEd course from any NCTE-recognised institution are eligible to appear for the CTET 2025 exam and will be considered eligible to apply for Classes 1 to 5 teachers. However, the condition that prevails is that such candidates need to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education within two years of their appointment.
