Yes, why not? B.Ed does not have any such rule that an engineer cannot pursue a course or anything. so you can pursue it.

Hello,
To become a lecturer in English Literature, you should go for the UGC NET Exam. The National Testing Agency conducts the UGC NET Exam for selecting the deserving candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for providing Junior Research Fellowship. If you are interested to appear in this exam, then it is essential to know the required eligibility criteria and application process. The exam is conducted for 81 subjects including the English Literature. NTA conducts this exam twice a year (June and December).
