Why not?, They will appreciate you, as you are an engineer and you have also done teacher training I. e B.Ed. You will be given preference over other candidates also as you have more technical knowledge than others. Best of luck.

To become a teacher after passing Class 12th standard with Science stream, you need to pursue B.P.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education course or Bachelor's degree in Science/ Commerce/ Arts stream from a recognized university and then you can pursue B.Ed course. After completion of your B.Ed course, you can apply for teacher posts in government schools.

Applicability
The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc. ). And schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET. Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. The Fundamental Differences Between B.Tech Computer Science & B.Tech Information Technology,is that Computer Science Branch give emphasis to the development of software by using different programming tools, & It also gives importance to hardware aspect, whereas Information Technology focuses on which software tool must be selected to complete a particular task & IT is mostly the application part of CS whereas CS give emphasis on the Algorithmic part of computer sciences with the knowledge of hardware.

The last date to submit the application fee has been over. Now NTA will start UGC NET Admit Card procedure for those whose registration process has successfully completed. Candidates who missed the opportunity to appear in UGC NET June Exam can apply for the upcoming NET Dec Exam. Start preparing for the exam in advanced and get best results. Best of luck.

Look, nothing is better in this field, all are equally good and have equal number of opportunities. If you wish to become a teacher, select the course of your interest, teachers teach all the subjects (which they are specialized in). I would suggest you to go for M.Com rather than going for an MBA, if you wish to be a teacher or Lecturer. Thank you and all the best.
