Can I pursue M.P.Ed after doing B.Com or is it necessary to pursue B.P.Ed before M.P.Ed? I am a B.Com graduate.

You need to have successfully completed BPE/B.P.Ed/B.Sc in physical education/other relevant degrees from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

You can go for B.Ed. You can either go for a regular degree or correspondence. A lot of universities providing regular B.Ed ask for 1 or 2 years of work experience in the teaching field.

You are actually overqualified for B.Ed. A candidate only needs to have a Bachelor's degree in relevant stream from a recognized university.

The minimum eligibility criterion for Diploma in education D.Ed courses has been reset to the higher secondary certificate (HSC).
