For B.Ed program candidates must have a Graduation or Master degree in Science, Humanities, and Commerce with at least 50% of marks. Candidates with B.Tech/ B.E degree must have obtained 55% of marks with specialization in Science and Mathematics are eligible for admission to the program.
Candidate must be 21 years old.
There is age relaxation of 5% for those who are visually challenged.

In 2013, an expert committee of the UGC had recommended that students enrolled in a regular degree course should be allowed to pursue an additional degree simultaneously under open or distance education mode from the same or different university. Thanks.
