UGC NET is held twice a year for the selection of assistant professor, JRF awards and to pursue the Ph.D. The best way to prepare for this national level test is to solve the questions.

Hello, The UGC NET Exam is conducted in more than 80 subjects. Whereas the Exam pattern is same for all the subjects. The UGC NET Exam is conducted in two phases. UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2. UGC NET Paper 1 is conducted in the General Aptitude Test whereas the UGC NET Paper 2 is conducted in the Subject you have completed the Masters programme. The UGC NET exam is a national level exam which is conducted twice a year for the selection of assistant professor in the university and colleges, to pursue the Ph.D. and for junior research fellowship award. The candidates are allowed to apply for the subject of their post graduation and its related subject. As uou have completed the M.Sc. In education you may apply for the UGC NET Education. Hello Sakshi,
Yes, you can apply for the UGC NET exam. As you say, you have done M.Sc. With IT then the best option for you is UGC NET Computer Science and Applications. But make sure that you will fulfill all the requirements of the NET exam. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks. If you want to apply for JRF NET exam then you have to fulfill age criteria also. Your age must not be more than 30 years. For assistant professor there is no limits on age.
