Eligibility Criteria:
- In-service teacher candidates with a minimum of two years working experience in AP as on 30th June 2018 and having passed bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks from Andhra University or any other university recognized, as equivalent thereto
- However, SC/ST/BC/PWD candidates need to possess a minimum of 40% marks as per rules of state government of Andhra Pradesh
- Candidate should be qualified in the B.Ed Entrance Test to be conducted by the School of Distance Education

- However, they have to pay Rs. 500 by the way of demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of Registrar, AU towards the cost of application forms and submit the same along with the application.

Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks either in the bachelor's degree and/or in the master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanity. The online admission procedure for B.Ed and M.Ed courses usually commences in the month of May/June and ends in mid-July every year. Candidates will be required to submit the filled-in application form along with the attested copies of documents as specified in the entrance-cum admission form. Foreign students residing in India who have a valid student visa for the minimum duration of the programme are also eligible for admission to IGNOU programme. For admission to B.Ed and M.Ed courses, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, conducted by IGNOU Delhi and usually held in the month of August every year. As for the semester examinations, the university conducts term-end Examination twice a year in the months of June & December. The university provides reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmir Migrants and Physically Handicapped learners, as per the Government of India rules, for admission to its various programmes.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2018 Exam I-V (Primary Level)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed). or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)* or
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
CTET Eligibility Criteria 2018 Exam VI-VII (Upper Primary Level):
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
