Yes, you are eligible, in fact perhaps over eligible. I have a suggestion. If you now do PG in engineering then you will be eligible to work as a lecturer in a college with better salary. You can in fact start a class to teach students about different entrance exams. Become an enterpreneur.

Hello Shilpa, CBSE has made some changes in UGC NET Exam Pattern 2018. As per the latest pattern CBSE UGC NET exam is conducted in two papers I. e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 It is a common General Aptitude Test which consists questions based on Reasoning Ability, Comprehension Reading, Mental Ability, and General Awareness etc. It consists total 50 questions of 100 marks, all are compulsory and the time duration of Paper 1 is one hour. Paper 2 It consists 100 MCQs type questions based on subjects each of 2 marks. The time duration of Paper 2 is two hours. There is no minus marking on any negative answer. Hello Adrija, One can join teaching profession in a college after PG in a subject. However Ph.D. is now being increasingly sought. I would advise you to have a look at the concerned webpage of UGC for details of the latest circular on the subject.
