You are eligible for B.Ed after any UG or PG degree as you have asked for Annamalai University. This university offers 2-year B.Ed course under distance education. It conducts entrance test which is to be conducted tentatively in September 2018 but as per NCTE norms regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary, senior secondary schools of Tamil Nadu with minimum of 2 years of experience are only eligible to get admission in distance education B.Ed course.

If you aspire to make career in the lectureship programme you can go for the economics subject. The Economics would not only provide career in the lectureship but you can also make career in other fields related to the economics
The UGC NET Exam is conducted twice a year and there is no age limit to appear in the exam while if you want to pursue scholarships worth INR 25000 per month you need to clear the JRF Exam and the age limit is only 30 years for it.
The candidates from the reserved categories are provided with age relaxation.

Yes, you can get admission for B.Ed in IGNOU after any degree, either Bachelor or Masters. The university conducts an entrance test for this course and on the other hand you should have minimum 55% marks in your previous degree for the same.

There is no age limit to appear in the UGC NET exam whereas if you want a scholarship or for JRF exam, the eligibility is around 50% marks for the women and the reserved category students.
