Eligibility: For admission in IGNOU. B.Ed programme candidates must have:
A) At least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in sciences/social sciences/commerce/humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
B)
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
(ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

Hi,
As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognised by State/Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course.

For entrance exam of B.Ed in RIE CEE, the questions will be asked from Language Proficiency (English), Teaching Aptitude/Attitude, and Reasoning Ability.

Candidates should have possessed following eligibility criteria defined by IGNOU for B.Ed Program:

Hi Goal,
An expert committee of the UGC had recommended that students enrolled in a regular degree course should be allowed to pursue an additional degree simultaneously under open or distance education mode from the same or different university. So, you can do B.Ed from regular and MA from IGNOU at same time. Yes, you can display the degree in a government job.

Here is all the information about BA B.Ed at Bhagwati College.
Duration : 4 Years
Eligibility : Intermediate with 50%(Min. 17 Years Age)
Admission Procedure : To take admission in this course there will be a entrance test conducted by C.C.S. Candidate having graduation or Post Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (General category) are eligible to apply for B.Ed admission in Jadavpur University.

Hi Rishi,
Eligibility for B.Ed at RIE CEE is 50% marks in Bachelors degree and / or Masters Degree in Science / Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science or Mathematics or in Bachelors Degree and /or in the Masters Degree in Social Science/Humanities (5% relaxation for SC / ST /PH).
