Eligibility
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examinations from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test. The Backward Classes/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master's degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for qualifying the test only after they have passed their Masters Degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of BC/SC/ST/PWD (persons with disability) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their P. G degree examination within one year from the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Masters level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (I. e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.

The type of questions that can be asked totally depends on the interview panel. I would suggest you do a bit of research on the school or college you are planning to apply for. They can ask you questions like:
1. How much do you know about this schools improvement plan? What do you think you can contribute to that plan?
2. How would you describe your leadership style?
3. How do you empower teachers to be leaders?
4. What have classroom management strategies been most effective for you?
5. How do you know when a parent organisation is effective? These are some of the questions just to give you an idea. What answers you give totally depends on you.
