Tips to Clear B.Ed Entrance Exam 2018-19:
1) English: Every teacher, irrespective of the subject she is teaching, needs to have a good command over English. This includes grammar, vocabulary, writing and speaking in correct English. This is the medium through which you will communicate with the students, and hence, it needs to be correct. There are many online English tests, which you can take to evaluate your own self. Read as much as you can. That is the best way to improve your English. And always, with everyone, communicate in English.
2) General Knowledge A teacher needs to be well updated with the current events. For this purpose, you can get yourself few GK books and watch the news channels and read the newspapers daily.
3) Teaching Aptitude your teaching skills will be assessed at the exam. You must possess the knack to deal with all kinds of students and have great communication skills. Your intelligence and analytic skills will also be tested in the teaching aptitude. There are several books on teaching aptitude available both in stores and online. You can refer to them.
4) Know your Subject Well: You need to know your graduation subject very well. And, of course, need to know about the subject you want to teach. Only the bookish information does not help in this matter. Read beyond your syllabus books to know more and better.
5) Solve Papers from Past Years: There is no better way to know the tools and tricks for an exam than solving the papers from the previous years. This way you can even time yourself and find out how much time do you need to solve the entire paper. You will also get an idea of what type of questions can come and how you need to tackle them.
