B.Ed is a degree that you can do only after a graduation or equivalent course. It is done in the same stream you did your Bachelor's degree.

As you have completed your Bachelor's degree in arts hence you have to pursue Master's degree that is Master of arts in English. You must have qualified the examination with nothing less than 55% marks if you belong to the general category and relaxation of 5% is given to the candidates of SC and ST
