As you can see, the Territorial Army Salary offers a wide range based on rank, starting from INR 56,100 per month for a Lieutenant and going up to INR 2,17,600 for a Brigadier. Officers also receive Military Service Pay (MSP) of INR 15,500.

To be eligible for the Territorial Army, you must meet the following criteria: \

• Be an Indian citizen
• Be between 18 and 42 years old
• Have a graduate degree from a recognized university
• Be physically and medically fit and gainfully employed. 

In Territorial Army, the period for which an officer serves is known as his period of 'Embodiment'. The commitment of embodiment is taken in writing at the start of each year of service. Territorial Army officers can opt to serve for the duration of their choice (one to 12 months) or just attend the annual training camp for two months in a year. The officer will get his salary from Territorial Army only for the duration they have served. After completion of the service, candidates will go and join their own job. Then candidates will not get a salary for Territorial Army but from their employers.

Territorial Army admit card is released one week before the exam. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
