Territorial Army

Territorial Army 2025 exam was conducted on July 20, 2025. Territorial Army exam pattern for written exam is divided into two papers. Paper 1 comprises questions from Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. Paper 2 comprises questions from the General Knowledge and English. The question paper of Territorial Army comprises 200 objective-type questions. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 200. The standard of questions in Elementary Mathematics is of Class 10 level. The standard of questions in other subjects is of graduation level. There are also negative marking of 0.5 marks for wrong answers in the exam.

Territorial Army admit card is released online only. The direct link to download the Territorial Army admit card is made available on this page. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. The hard copy of the call letter is not sent by post.

A candidate must fulfill all medical and physical requirements as stated by the Territorial Army. For fitness qualification, candidates must serve physical and medical certificates to the authorities for further procedure.

A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from any recognised university. They should be employed.

The maximum age one should be at to apply for the Territorial Army is 42. The minimum age is 18. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the exam. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Both married and unmarried people are eligible to join the territorial army. They should be employed.

The Ex-Service Officers aged between 18 to 42 years while applying are eligible. Candidates need to be a graduate and must be in good health. However, candidates who have served the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ GREF/ Para Military and other forces are not permitted to apply.
