Hello,
The eligibility criteria for Thapar University state that you need to have a minimum aggregate score with mandatory subjects for the course you are selecting. Thus, if that one subject does not have the aggregate board marks but is among the mandatory subjects for the course, then you may not get admission at Thapar University.

Candidates wishing to apply online for admission to TIET Patiala must visit the official website of Thapar University. The university provides four-year full-time BE/B.Tech courses at the undergraduate level. Indeed, TIET takes into account both legitimate JEE Main results and Class 12 marks for admission to BE/B.Tech programmes. A merit list will be created based on the scores obtained in the admission exam. Physics, Chemistry, and Math grades from the Class 12 test are also included in the University's merit list for admission to the BTech programme.

Yes, Thapar University also provides a four-year full-time BE study at the undergraduate level with 14 specialisations. This course's admission process is comparable to that of the BTech. Except for BTech in Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering, candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance test determines their admission to TIET BE/BTech. Thapar University 50% of seats for BE admission will be filled on the basis of JEE Main score, and the remaining 50% of seats will be filled on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10, 12, and graduation.

At the undergraduate level, Thapar University provides four years of full-time BE/BTech studies. With the exception of the BTech in Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering, admission to all BE/BTech programmes at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is determined by a candidate's performance on the JEE Main entrance exam.
